PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

THE PROCESS

FROM PROBLEM TO PRODUCT

FlowOps was born from real experience in post-production. Every stage has been driven by identifying industry challenges, researching existing solutions, and designing a more intuitive workflow platform.

  1. 01 Problem Discovery

While working in a post-production facility, I experienced firsthand how difficult it was to anticipate bottlenecks, balance workloads, and plan resources. Existing tools focused on tracking work rather than helping teams stay ahead of operational challenges.

  2. 02 Research

I explored production management and scheduling platforms used across the industry, analysing their strengths, limitations, and identifying opportunities to build a workflow centred around planning, visibility, and ease of use.

  3. 03 UX / UI Design

FlowOps was designed using Lovable, inspired by modern, minimalist interfaces. Every screen prioritises clarity, fast decision-making, and reducing unnecessary complexity for post-production teams.

  4. 04 Prototype

The product is currently being iterated through interactive prototypes, refining workflows, testing new features, and improving the overall user experience before development of the MVP.

  5. 05 MVP

The first functional MVP is currently in development. It will focus on validating the core planning, resource management, and workflow tools that form the foundation of FlowOps.

About
Me

I’m Alba de la Cruz, a Media Designer and Post Production Specialist.

My media design work includes visual identity, motion graphics, typography, social content and UX/UI projects. I’m interested in how design can make information clearer, more engaging and easier to understand.

I’m passionate about visual storytelling, colour grading, photography and the craft behind every production. I enjoy exploring how image, colour, typography and movement can work together to shape an audience’s experience.

I’ve worked across feature films, television, documentaries and commercial productions, combining technical precision with a creative approach to help bring stories to life.

My independent work includes identity design, educational colour-grading content, motion and 3D experiments, photography and UX/UI design.

As part of my independent practice, I’m developing FlowOps, a product-design project exploring how UX/UI and intuitive digital tools could improve post-production planning, media management and production workflows. The project allows me to combine my industry experience with research, interface design and prototyping.

I believe the strongest work happens where creativity, technology and thoughtful design come together.
